BACK TO PERISHER WEEKEND 2015

SLOPES and the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be holding the annual “Back to Perisher Weekend” over the 2015 Easter period which this year also coincides with the NSW school holidays.
“Back to Perisher Weekend” is an initiative to increase patronage in the Kosciuszko National Park in the autumn. All Club members and their friends are encouraged to attend. This will be the 7th year of BtoP and numbers have increased each year.

Update: more info re the Fire Station Open Day…
We appreciate your help in spreading the word about the Open Day. We plan on being open from 11am. There will be some showbags for the kids, a chance to tour our 4WD and oversnow fire engines, photos on a snowmobile or a 6 wheel bike. The kids always manage to find the siren button. They can even have a turn on a real fire hose under supervision with one of our fire fighters.
There will be lots of information on fire safety in the home and lodge. If any of your members would like to discuss any fire safety concerns with us on the day, please encourage them to do so.
